Keynote Speaker
Daniel Lepojärvi
Chief Executive Officer, ERDO (Emergency Relief and Development Overseas), Canada
Daniel Lepojärvi serves as CEO of ERDO, where he leads global humanitarian and development initiatives in partnership with local churches around the world. His passion for mission and community transformation was shaped during his early ministry among vulnerable children in East Africa, where he witnessed both deep poverty and the powerful role of the church in restoring hope.
With a background in international development, ministry leadership, and cross-cultural work, Daniel has helped strengthen holistic, church-based approaches to community development. He is committed to equipping churches to serve their communities with compassion, dignity, and long-term vision.
Description of the Agenda
The consultation combines missiological reflection with practical application. The theme and subthemes introduce participants to important questions shaping mission today.
Mornings are dedicated to biblical and missiological reflection. Afternoons create space for practical learning, workshops, and collaborative conversations. Evenings gather participants for worship and prayer.
Informal conversations during breaks and meals remain an essential part of the consultation, strengthening relationships and encouraging shared learning.

The PEM Consultation Strategy Sessions are designed to create space for meaningful dialogue, theological reflection and collaborative mission strategy across Europe. Through focused afternoon sessions, participants will engage with topics such as community transformation, holistic mission and reaching unreached people groups from the perspectives of local churches, national movements and mission organizations. Each session combines case studies, group discussions and practical next steps, with the goal of strengthening collaboration and producing shared insights for the future of mission in Europe.
